Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. Her studies in theatre were in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was taken in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for several years before trying her hand at television and film roles. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four part audio podcast set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the end of Walter White's life.
