Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished psychologist since 1993, and the director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name has been recognized for her pioneering work in studying eyewitness testimony and child witnesses in legal settings. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive, she has received numerous grants and has been the recipient of many awards at both national and internationally. She has consulted with various governments and agencies across the world on policies as well as the study of child abuse in the justice system. She is currently a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She was a part of several professional associations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was president of The American Psychological Association's 3 divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
