Alaina was in awe of singing by her sister, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with an brain tumor. Alaina had previously worked at CiC's Pizza. She was a student at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, where she participated in the cheerleading team.
